Promoting employee health and wellbeing

Increasingly, organisations are giving employees support with adopting healthier lifestyles generally and not just in the workplace. This may involve taking part in specific campaigns such as No Smoking Day, introducing theme days e.g. healthy heart, offering health and wellbeing assessments to all employees or other health support such as online assessments or resources.

For employees struggling with emotional distress or stress-related symptoms, we can offer telephone counselling by suitably qualified counsellors. This would usually be a short-term solution focused intervention e.g. 3-6 sessions and can benefit the employer by promoting recovery of the employee thereby reducing sickness absence.
